Description

The 1986 Tartan 34-2 is a classic, responsive masthead sloop designed by Sparkman & Stephens (with Tim Jackett) and built by Tartan Marine. “Uh-Oh!” has been owned by the same family for 20 years. She has a Scheel keel, just about 4’5″ draft, allowing the skipper to take her into shallower waters that many boats of her size cannot enter. She’s easily handled by a couple and is an ideal entry cruiser for a small family. The reliable Yanmar diesel is original (no hour meter) – runs fine with no smoke. Standing rigging is less than 10 years old. Life lines replaced in 2005. Main and jib are Precision. Main sail is 2016 with 4 partial battens, 2 reef points and reinforced for off-shore sailing. The jib is 2020, 140%, tri-radial dacron. AP, Garmin GPS, depth, speed and wind. Dripless shaft seal (new 2023) and 3-blade Maxi prop. Bimini is in good condition. Dodger needs to be replaced, but the frame is fine. Below there is room for 5-6 in the main cabin and V-berth. Cushions are in good condition. Priced to sell, all reasonable offers encouraged.
